After Osborn reveals that he knows Peter is Spider-Man, he informs him that he will keep his secret safe. This continues to haunt Peter even after he returns home. Nico offers to take Peter to the movies, but he tells her that he is having dinner with Osborn. In the empty restaurant, Peter tries to tell Osborn that he is not Spider-Man, but that he can see through his lie. He reveals that after saving his son Harry, he began putting together possible candidates for who Spider-Man was, eventually coming up with Amadeus, Jeanne, Asha, and Peter himself. He offers his services to help him, but Peter politely declines. Osborn leaves the door open for any eventuality and scrutiny.
