After a traumatic incident, a young medical student, Namir Smallwood, will move to a rural hospital to get a new start. By observing James fighting and having difficulty contacting patients, Dr. Harrison (veteran stage and screen actor Michael Potts) suggests that he is visiting a class that focuses on the type of bed and facilitates a deeper relationship with patients. James’ past demons begin to achieve him when he is consumed by a new asthma patient (Sidney Flanigan, never always) with mysterious symptoms. His grip with reality begins to slide when the worrying nightmares, the excitement of speculation and physical injuries collide with the harsh medical reality. Director Alex Thompson meets a strong veteran actor ensemble, continuing the forerunner of the Holy French and Ghostlight in this humanistic and unconventional genre.
