The Principality of Zeon is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 0079, Zeon Lieutenant Commander Char Aznable leads an attack on the space colony of Side 7. There, he discovers the Earth Federation’s new abandoned weapon, the RX-78-2 Gundam. He then decides to steal it for himself, creating a domino effect that changes history as we know it forever. Five years later, in the independent colony of Side 6, a young Newtype girl finds herself on the hunt for the missing RX-78-2 Gundam. It’s not long before events conspire to place her in the pilot’s seat of the new Gundam GQuuuuuuX prototype and participate in an underground mobile suit combat competition. Surrounded by new friends, she tries to understand her strange powers and find her place in the world, dreaming of a sky where she can fly freely.
