The Principality of Zeon is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 0079, Zeon Lieutenant Char Aznable leads an attack on the space colony of Side 7. There, he discovers the Earth Federation’s abandoned new weapon, the RX-78-2 Gundam. He then decides to steal it for himself, setting off a domino effect that changes history as we know it forever. Five years later, in the independent colony of Side 6, a young Newtype girl finds herself caught up in the hunt for the missing RX-78-2 Gundam. Events soon conspire to place her in the pilot’s seat of a new prototype Gundam, the GQuuuuuuX, and participate in underground mobile suit combat competitions. Surrounded by new friends, she tries to understand her strange powers and find her place in the world, dreaming of a sky where she can fly freely.
